This poster for the bookstore was created by graphic designer and illustrator Pierre Durand around 1991, a time when he produced numerous drawings within the LGBT community, notably for the magazine Sortie, and for ACT UP Montreal, for example. With humor, the poster plays with gay and lesbian stereotypes, while highlighting the welcoming atmosphere of the Androgyne bookstore.
