Queer

A term of Anglo-Saxon origin that was used as an insult towards LGBTQ2+ people until it was reclaimed. This term is now used by people who identify with a gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation outside of the social norm.

Non-binary

A person whose gender identity is neither exclusively male nor exclusively female. This identity can be defined as a mixture of feminine and masculine, both feminine and masculine, or neither.

Intersectionality

This concept, coined by feminist studies, was proposed by Kimberlé Crenshaw in the late 1980s to highlight how Black women in the United States are victims of judicial discrimination not only because they are Black, but also because they are women. Over time, this definition has broadened to encompass a wider range of intersections between two or more types of discrimination related to gender, sexual orientation, social class, religion, and so on. The term intersectionality is most often used to combat these phenomena of domination and discrimination.
